Going to a BOB gig wasn't like going to see other bands. BOB toured the UK extensively, often playing in towns that no-one else would play. They could not always offer the guarantee of a working PA system or a set without mishap. But like true professionals, they didn't let minor details get in the way of a good time. 

 

To the right, you can hear a classic BOB tune recorded at Leicester's Princess Charlotte venue in April 1989, complete with typical band-crowd interaction.

In fashion true to the times BOB wrote their own fanzines (well, newsletters, as they called them) detailing their live exploits and more.
